1, HK did not refresh all the amenities after they cleaned the room, we did not find slippers in Rm 1509 after checked in;
2, the greetings for call center staffs took too much time, maybe it's better to make it shorter;
3, my own room 1521 started getting hotter and hotter from 11 am everyday when it was sunny day, the A/C in the room could not make the temperature drop. Hotel do not have any fans or air coolers, the temperature would be a big problem especially in summer.
4, as an international five-star hotel, we did not get a good picture on our TV sets, the TV channels were too less and the signal was in a mess. Hotel should add more international and local TV channels to enhance the satisfaction;
5, there were no differences between coffee latte and cappuccino for breakfast, and the fired bacon tasted too salty;
6, the bathtub is too small which made me feel a little bit uncomfortable;
7, no turn down service;
8, one of my friends stayed in Rm 1509 almost got injured when he was walking in the corridor because there was a long nail on the carpet! I saw that nail, it he length was about 5cm. Fortunately it was just stuck in his shoes. I think HK or PA or ENG should take more attention in case this kind of issue will happen again.
As a new opening hotel, the staffs have a strong sense of service, but they need to be trained to pay attention to...

Read moreI stayed here for a few nights this summer, and it was by far the worst InterContinental I’ve ever stayed at in China—no competition.
Housekeeping was extremely sloppy: there were crumbs on the floor on the day I checked in, and they were still there on the third day. The bathroom and shower floors were never cleaned. The window sill was covered in dust. The yellow stains in the sink stayed there until I checked out. The mirror was never wiped. The paper under the glass rinsing cup got soaked and torn but was never replaced. The desk was left dirty, and empty bottles were never taken away. By the third day, they didn’t even bother to empty the trash can!
I finally couldn’t stand it anymore and called the front desk to complain, but the receptionist confidently told me that housekeeping wouldn’t vacuum unless guests specifically requested it. The thing is—they never vacuumed even once during my stay!
The underground parking area was basically a garbage collection site, with a horrible stench in the summer—you literally had to hold your breath going down there. The street in front of the hotel is very narrow, and there were no security staff managing traffic at all.
Overall, it was an extremely disappointing and...
