Conrad Tianjin — Hotel in Tianjin

Stayed here for 4 nights for vacation and had an amazing experience.

Rooms and atmosphere: This hotel is relatively new, only being built in 2019. I was impressed as soon as we pulled up with the circular driveway and the warm and soothing lighting. The room was clean and luxurious, with a top-of-the-line Toto toilet, plenty of amenities (even after a disclaimer that they are being eco-friendly and had to omit some!), a Nespresso machine, and at least 6 complimentary bottles of Conrad-branded water. The room was comfortable and equipped with buttons to control the shades and curtains. The only drawback about the room was the temperature, even though Hilton has no control over this - we were not able to control the heat due to municipal government regulations and so it was very hot and dry at 26°C.

Service: Concierges were helpful from the beginning, opening the door for our vehicle and all future taxis we called from the hotel, as well as helping with our luggage. Front desk staff was also professional and helpful, albeit not very confident in their English (everyone usually defers all English-speaking guests to the supervisor). The check-in process was not as smooth as expected - we were delayed by the front desk asking for a confirmation of our friend's employment information to confirm whether we were eligible for our rate, which I haven't been asked for at any other Hilton property. Be prepared with their name, position, and the Hilton property where they work. Ultimately, the front desk advised we could provide the information at any point throughout our stay, and checked us in. I would've appreciated being notified of this at the beginning, rather than having to embarassingly scramble to get this information in the lobby. I provided this the next morning, yet was asked for this again on check-out. The front desk experience definitely wasn't what I was used to for the Conrad. Housekeeping staff was wonderful, replenishing water and helping to replenish toiletries - special shoutout to Jessie Zhao who took great care of us during our stay.

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my family. As a Hilton Golden Member, my room was upgraded. Quick and friendly check-in process with warmly welcome fruits & sweets in the room. The room is big, clean, quiet, great garden view and very beautiful decoration. The Refrigerator is very large, special, and full of drinks. The big bath is very comfortable. The high-tech toilet is surprising. The staff were friendly and professional. The bed was of moderate firmness and softness, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful sleep night. The breakfast is rich in variety, fresh and delicious, and the dinner is even more memorable. The chefs' attentive cooking and the service staff's warm service added to my journey. The hotel lobby is too high and the columns are vast. I have never seen such a luxurious lobby around the world!
