The room is very hot because they completely shut down the air conditioning even when it is hot outside. Rooms sometimes get up to 29C/85F. If you complain they just say sorry the it is not cooling season yet.
Internet rarely works and is super slow. Myself and many of the other other engineers working with us could not connect their work computers to their VPN because it was SO SLOW.
Stayed 39 nights and room key didn't work 10 times, so basically 25% of the time I went to my room I had to go back down stairs from the 7th floor and wait in line again for a new key!
I got overcharged on the laundry, they changed the rules on the laundry from when I checked in. Manager would not listen to me when I explained what I was told at check in. Checkout took 40 minutes while they tried to figure out my laundry charges. I had to leave and later they sent me a bill that was not correct. I informed them by email that the bill was not correct, and they charged my card anyway and didn't even bother responding to my email. Just charged my card and that was it.
There is nothing around this hotel, very few places to eat. The food in the lobby is pretty good but way too expensive.
People are smoking in the elevators and in the hallways. You tell the staff and they laugh and say they are not supposed to, but they do nothing to stop it. People with Asthma need to be careful.
Very bad experience. Hard to get a good night sleep when the room is 29C/85F.

Read moreWe stayed with my wife 2 months and half in this hotel for business reasons. The comfort of this hotel is good, our room was big with a nice bathroom. But when we wanted to take a bath, the water in the bathtube was so dirty, the reception said us, it is normal, nobody use it in China... At each time we needed some administrative papers necessary for my work, it was a big fight to obtain what we wanted. These workers in this hotel lied the most of time, for example, I requested one machine to purificate the air in our room because I saw one worker who provided one for another room close to mine and the man in the reception answered me they have not here; after I insisted and explained I just saw one 5 minutes ago, he finally provided directly one for our room!! We asked that nobody came inside our room when we will move in another city for 3 days and after they said yes to us, they didn't respect and came several times in our room. The worst was at the beginning, my wife who was alone each day began to talk with some employes in thi place and during one cocktail with many guests, one of them joked about some stories he heard from workers in this hotel. My wife was so hurted and complains to the general manager, but he smiled and no excuse, nothing... No respect at all!! prefer to stop here, but the hotel could be a very nice place with a real professional team. We are IHG members and they forgot to count our collected points, they sais the policy of this hotel is different, we fighted again to obtain our rights..... Too...
