Wenzhou Overseas Chinese Hotel — Hotel in Wenzhou

We booked a 5* non-smoking room, we booked it for the spa and wellness as it said on booking.com. well the swimming pool was down 3 corridors past 2 kitchen mind all the oil on the floor... To find a dirty pool. We then went to the room I will add photos to show all the stains and burns on the floor and the green algae stain on the shower. Also let's not forget to tell you about the smell it was like walking in to a 90s bar it stank. We tried to complain but we used an eu website and they would not refund to leave for new hotel.

Location of the hotel was perfect for short trips in to the tourist areas.

The location is very poor after 22.00 do not bring family here the outside becomes very hostile and the hotel doesn't warn you at all. the club next door was very drunk heavy and the red light on the traffic light was not the only red one. I have give the hotel 2 stars as the bed was ok and the daytime location is great the view from the room was better to look out than in the hotel

Please note. If this hotel was in eu there is no way this could get a 4* it's a low...

Wifi never works. When it does, it's really slow, and to be honnest, it never work. Food is not great so we eat outisde. There is a COCO coffer right in front so we go there instead of the hotel food. Service is ok. I go there 3 times a year since 15 years now so staff knows me well, so i have good service. But it's difficult to be understood because english is bad over there. Try to order room service, they don't understand what you want. So they run to your room with a menu so you can point to what you want ! Breakfast buffet seem ok, but i don't eat breakfast.||||I was tired of staying there and made the move to the sangri la. ||||I suggest you take a room in the old part of the buiding if you have to stay there. The room are BIG and there is a 60 inch TV in the room !||||OH, and yes, It's really noisy in that part of wenzhou. Firework will sometime pop up at 1 or 2 in...

After about 6 years I returned to stay in this hotel for two nights. The rooms have been notably refurbished and renovated. Carpet looked quite new and clean. The beds are too hard. Not soft at all. But overall condition of the rooms are good.|What I can clearly see is that the staff did not get a “maintenance”. Service was much worse from before. No smiles and very robotic. I asked for a late check out at front desk and the lady said literally: please ask my boss (she was standing next to her). Unbelievable! And of course I got it. |The gym is very outdated. Equipment from the Stone Age. No music, rather dirty feel although there were no other guests. |Location wise the hotel is good, close to the pedestrian city Center.|Nowadays more better hotels have opened which are newer and for sure have better customer...
