We stayed here while attending a conference in Wuhan and had a delightful three nights. Everything was great. The rooms are very spacious -- at least the one we had which contained a nice size bedroom, a sitting area with a desk, and a large bathroom. The room was clean, soft towels, and a nice comfortable bed that was really easy to sleep in. It seems to be a bit of a gimmick but the hotel gives scented pillows on request. There's a pillow menu!||||It seemed like our room was/had been a smoking room--ask for a non-smoking room just in case.||||There's a nice gym: it doesn't have a lot of equipment, but certainly enough. One bike and one elliptical plus a few treadmills suggests a need for more when there might be more people there. There are free weights and an area for yoga. There are water bottles in the gym and towels.||||The breakfast is a buffet and it's quite plentiful with the usual Asian/Western combination. The noodle bar was especially good. ||||There's a coffee shop in the lobby. It doesn't have much of a selection--when i checked it was mainly bread and pastries, although u think it might have had sandwiches too.||||The Wifi works well, although it did come and go a few times.||||We didn't walk far from the hotel and so I'm not sure what's available in the vicinity.||||All in all, a very high quality hotel that gave us a very...
Read moreThis hotel, the Wuhan Jade Boutique Hotel, is close to the Software park of Wuhan Optic valley. The hotel is elegantly decorated. The accessories are good. I found the staffs to be very friendly and cordial. Some of them speak very good English which is not so common in China. The English of Tiffany Zhang Feng, the Manager of Splendido, the Western restaurant of this hotel, is really commendable and she helped me a lot during my week long stay in Feb 2013. They are flexible to adapt the dishes as per the choice of the guests which was very helpful.
The Dong hu lake is pretty close for weekend visits. The Guang gu subway station is also very close for those who like to use public transport to travel to the various parts of the city.
I would recommend this hotel to all - mainly to those coming to Wuhan for long stays to work in the Software park of Optical valley and looking for an elegant and quiet place to stay and even to work...
Read moreOver the last several years I have based all my trips through china from the Jade hotel in wuhan. The hotel and staff have always gone out of their way to make a nonchinese speaking person comfortable. They have an excellent restaurant on site, a great breakfast buffet and nice comfortable rooms. The coffee house on the ground floor is a pleasant place and they always let you sit and work there as long as you want.An easy walk away from Guangu tiandi, there are many good restaurants nearby. The rooms are kept very clean, and they are comfortable with truly working heat and air conditioning as needed. The internet works well. Its quite simply a great hotel to use while on...
