Wanda Realm Wuhan — Hotel in Wuhan

My fiancee and I recently stayed at the Wanda Realm to visit my grandmother at the nearby Zhongnan Hospital. While I wish that we were visiting Wuhan under better circumstances, the staff at the hotel made our trip as enjoyable as it could possibly have been. ||||Since I have not lived in Wuhan since I was very young, I had no idea where I could purchase gifts to bring to the hospital with me. I was so touched that Andy, one of the concierges, PERSONALLY ensured that flowers and a fruit basket were prepared on our behalf - with an hour of my request.||||Equally touching was the care that the hotel took to ensure that all our needs were met. There are few foreigners who live in Wuhan, but my fiancee never felt out of place - not only did Isabelle, one of the guest relations specialists, immediately reach out to us when she saw that we were not fluent Mandarin speakers but she also arranged for discounted tickets to the amazing Han Show for the same evening. ||||The rooms themselves were beautiful, with comfortable beds and modern furnishing. The breakfast buffet was standard for a 5-star hotel in China, with a solid selection of both Western and Chinese cuisines. This was my perfect trip. My daughter wanted a luxury hotel experience as her birthday gift and Wanda Realm made it happen without the high cost😃. The price was right, the atmosphere was superb and the service made me feel like a special guest. The room was luxurious and clean and they seemed to have considered everything in the design of the place. Separate areas for toilet, shower and face basin, telephone in the bathroom for emergency, a retractable clothesline in the bathroom, and conveniently placed shower gels, shampoos and lotions. The food at Zhen restaurant was delectable. Buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reasonably priced too. Eg 128 for buffet lunch. There were snacks, drinks and wine/liquor in the room that had price tags on them, so I didn't eat much because I thought they'd charge it to my room, but upon checking out, I enquired and they said there were no extra charges for that. The swimming pool was lovely and the sauna and steam rooms made it worth visiting the health club. I'll definitely go back!
