Arrive 1 am in the morning was informed that our booked lounge access room (for 3 people under the confirmed booking) will only allow two people for access, third person requires extra cost. Was told the same thing about breakfast. Asked the staff since we arrived at 1 am and missed the lounge benefit for the night before and if we can exchange that for one additional breakfast. Direct quote from the staff, “it is your decision to arrive late at night and missed the lounge benefit so it is not allowed”. The staff could declined the inquiry but would expect much better staff service and training in a 5 star hotel. Staff also quoted “our hotel does not provide extra bed service”, we insisted to have an extra bed due to the fact we booked for 3 people. The tagged repeatedly declined that the hotel has such service until she said it’s because the e room is too tiny and there is a food between the extra bed so that’s the reason why she said no. And this hotel does provide extra bed service (if they do not then it is definitely not Marriott standard). With the same price you could find much better hotel with much better service in Wuhan, not the service we paid for and...
