I recently had the pleasure of staying at HuaYi WuXi, and it was truly an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, demonstrating impeccable professionalism and attentiveness.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The modern design combined with thoughtful touches made it a perfect blend of luxury and practicality. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

The breakfast selection was impressive, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options catering to different tastes. The service during breakfast was efficient, and the staff ensured everything was replenished promptly.

My wife and I were visiting friends in Wuxi. As they lived a distance out of the classical center of Wuxi we opted to stay at the Hualuxe which was not far from their home. Wow! We were very pleasantly surprised by the amenities of this hotel. We were greeted by very friendly staff and taken to a spacious, modern and extremely well appointed room. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The bed was extra king sized … what shall I call it? Emperor sized? Anyway it was perfect for a good night's sleep. We met our friends, some of their colleagues and their children in the buffet restaurant. For a set price you could help yourself to a wide range of well cooked, well presented food and good quality wines. The children were all happy with their choices too. Breakfast was more Chinese oriented but I had no problems finding the kind of food that I wanted. I was very happy with the experience and value for money, this was up there with the best of this kind of hotel that I've been to in my 6 years in China. Had a stay here on my way to Shanghai. The hotel's Manager Li was very flexible in helping me extend my 2 day stay to 4 days and then back down to 2 days. Overall service and breakfast were excellent. I had just come from the Intercontinental Nanjing, but I thought Wuxi Hualuxe is generally up to par in service, and I really appreciated the hotel and the brand having tea available.

Hotel is right next to the subway line, there's not much to do around the area itself other than a large park, but the subway will quickly take you to whereever you need to go.

Room was clean and private, some of the decor looks like it was wearing down slightly. The swimming pool requires you to wear a swim cap, which I didn't have, hopefully they change that policy.

Everyone is really friendly. The food in the lounge was average but it's rarely used by people and is quiet and makes for a good drink location.

IHG's internal system is flawed in not allowing cancellation before 6pm same day, that's something IHG corporate should address for hotels in China.
