This is a true luxury hotel in beautiful grounds. The lobby is spectacular. However, we booked a standard room and it was old, stained and tired. We had not paid much for 2 nights admittedly, but complained at the reception desk. After them trying to sell us an upgrade, we explained that we were not going to stay in a room with stained carpets and they eventually moved us to a deluxe room. This was absolutely palatial!! A divine bathroom, big room, pure luxury. The hot springs in the hotel are great but are not included in your room rate- it cost us around £30. Worth going in though. We didn't have breakfast but we ordered room service one night with was good. Lintong seemed to be a nice town popular with Chinese tourists. No one spoke English and it was very difficult to communicate here. The hotel staff barely speak any English so take some phrases translated with you. We ended up paying to use the hotel computer to search some answers to some questions that we wanted to know. Google is banned in China (!) so our phone wifi didn't work properly. Not sure how to get round this but I'm sure there's a way. This hotel is s perfect base for visiting the Terracotta Warriors which were amazing. Expect to pay £5 in a taxi to get there. Terracotta Warriors are about £18 to get in and you need at least 2 hours to enjoy this properly. We had 2 nights in Lintong and for me this was enough- we struggled a lot with the food as we are not very adventurous and there was nothing remotely Western and nothing in English. Take food supplies if you are like me!! There are loads of western fast food chains (KFC, Starbucks, Burger King etc) at a very smart complex attached to the Terracotta Warriors so we enjoyed a decent coffee there! Overall definitely stay in this hotel as it was beautiful...

According to my tour guide from the Terracotta Army, this bath house (6 miles/10 km west of terracotta army), a little off city center, without doubt, is the best in town, costing about ¥160. She walks me to the bus (¥9) that stops right at the resort.||||* Please bring a bathing suit * || This review is for their spa only ||||The compound is pretty big, lush and dated. The bath house is flanked by multiple buildings (hotels). At reception, a young man said the fee to the bath is "¥296."||"Oh ... I was told it's ¥160."||"That's price for tour guide. Are you a tour guide?"||"I'm not but my tour guide guides me here."||"Ok, I can't give you that price but how about ¥188?" I end up paying ¥296/US$44.38, which includes ¥108 bathing suit (the cheapest in their store) that's required.||||After checking in my shoes, I go in. Facing with at least four openings, I'm a little lost and looking toward a young staff for direction who scolds,||"NOT that one. THIS one ..."||Her savage manner and voice is simply shocking. I read this fellow traveler's review that they're not set up for westerners, she's right. Although Mandarin is my native tongue but I've trouble to understand their attitude.||||The ponds or tubs are all out door, linked by the winding covered corridor. They claim the spring is from the famed HuaQing Spring. The water temperatures are displayed and they vary from tubs to tubs, which mean, the bathhouse heat them... ? The bath house provides tea, cookies and bananas, neglectable compare to the bath houses in Beijing...

We stayed at this hotel from June 21st to 22nd, 2025. |This hotel features a pleasant Mediterranean-style interior. At the reception desk is Sergio who speaks English very well. It's quite rare in China! He told us about thermal springs and helped us purchase tickets. ||Visiting the thermal springs was an incredibly relaxing experience! The place offers a variety of baths with different temperatures and herbal infusions, surrounded by lush greenery that creates a serene atmosphere. We went as a group—with children and friends—and spent about four hours there, but it would be easy to stay for an entire day!||One great thing is that you don't need to bring much except your swimsuit. Towels, shampoo, soap, and even hairdryers are provided on-site. Additionally, there's an option to order tea, non-alcoholic drinks, or snacks while enjoying the hot springs.||Overall, it's a perfect spot for unwinding after sightseeing or just wanting some tranquility amidst nature. Highly recommended if you're looking for a rejuvenating break during your visit to Xi'an!||For lunch we also dined here for an additional fee, opting for a hot pot experience where we cooked our own food. However, essentially it was a buffet with plenty of pre-prepared dishes including seafood, beef, turkey, lamb, soups, salads, sweet pastries, a chocolate fountain, ice cream... It exceeded all expectations and was definitely worth much more than what we paid!|I would highly recommend this hotel and if I ever pass through Xi'an again, I'll certainly stay...
