Le Meridien Xi'an Chanba — Hotel in Xi'an

Overall it's a good experience staying at Le Meridien. The hotel located in a quiet place with beautiful natural view, makes it a perfect mood for vacation. Although it's in middle of nowhere so it takes time to go anywhere in Xi'an. I'd like to say thank you for every time I've got a big chance to get a room upgrade. The breakfast is basically good and the gym is quiet and clean.

But I have to say something about the check-in. They could never figure out I've put order for 2 consecutive nights as a result I was locked out of the door at the second day. Then I need to go back to check-in counter and wait in line for 10 mins trying to make my room key available again. That's an extremely bad experience! Not to mention they always keep you wait when you need to do check-out or issue an invoice.

On the other hand, I’d like to thank Quinn working in lounge. There's always warm welcome from her before I arrive at hotel and the room along with welcome fruits is well arranged beforehand. Quinn checks my schedule during the stay and set up check-out time for me. That makes me feel like home.

All in all, I believe Le Meridien means high quality stay and better services and I’m more than happy to recommend it...

On the bank of Chanba in the northeast of Xi'an, there is a landmark hotel-Le Méridien Xi'an Chanba. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and attracts many Xi'an citizens to check in on weekends. It is especially comfortable to blow by the river in the sweltering summer. Even during the epidemic, the service was excellent. The young ladies at the front desk were very professional and serious. The young ladies at the executive lounge were very enthusiastic, especially Yoyo. The lounge manager Linda was a beautiful woman in Xi’an and talked a lot about the history and culture of Xi’an....

Location isn’t very convenient if you prefer public transportation, you probably need rental car( free for customers) or taxis to get there. Good thing about not so close to city is that the area is very quiet.

Food. I tried the one on third floor and it’s pretty good. The breakfast doesn’t have many choice though.

Service. It could be better. They will definitely try their best to solve the problem but not so open minded to find the best solution.

Value for money. Not too bad.

Probably better if you travel with family or friends. They even have a small playground...
