Positives: Ultra chic hotel - I had the standard room with no view - I'd pay for the Spectacular room with a view of the river; it includes a tub as well (if that's your thing).

Negatives: Inconvenient unless you have a cab hailing app in and around Xi'an. We had difficulties in getting a taxi when we were in town one day (SKP building), and had to use the subway and change to a taxi (not easy to get at this other station also, and another 15-20 minutes ride) to get back to the hotel. One staff in Woobar refused our request for another teacup as she insisted that the pot of tea we've ordered is only for one person, and the other person was not allowed to share it - what ridiculous behaviour. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she mentioned that I wasn't allowed to speak to the supervisor and walked away. I got another teacup from another server and did not mention the incident to her supervisor. I've tried to cancel my airport transfer which I've booked via Marriott Bonvoy but my email cancellation request was not replied to or acknowledged. The airport transport actually was there to receive us when we arrived at the airport. The telephone number for cancellation is a number which I cannot get connected to (starts with 6, which I believe is an area code?) - has anybody else used the Marriott Bonvoy excursions and encountered cancellation issues as well? I've requested for a room on the higher floors which I felt wasn't adhered to
