Honestly - it is more of a Hampton experience. For the price it is O.K. with the welcoming and helpful staff. We feel that the double tree struggles to find its identity - the lobby has a boutique feel but the room is decidely 'express' with little/no design. The pool is good though.|Overall, you'll be happy if you travel for business and consider it as a 'Hampton with a pool'. Otherwise, if you are looking for a more local experience this is not it. |Location-wise, it is very convinient for business. Close to the Yangzhou train station, Zhenjiang high speed train station as well as the new and old town. Again, for those who are on vacation, the Hampton might be closer to the main attractions and has more local feel to it. |Good try, and I appreciate the effort of the very nice staff -- but it leaves so much to be desired. You walk in and bam! - you're surrounded by sheer elegance, but it's chill, not uptight.The room is like its own mini palace - so spacious and with views that'll take your breath away.
