Our recent stay at the Grand Mercure Yichang Waitan was a delightful experience! The hotel’s riverside location near the iconic Yichang Pagoda is ideal, with a safe, convenient underground pathway for easy access. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and made our family feel at home.

Breakfast was a real treat, especially the freshly made Yichang noodles and seasonal fruits – a perfect start to the day. The pool was a fantastic highlight with its bubbling hot springs and soothing ambiance, perfect for relaxation.

I traveled solo to Yichang and was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were extremely courteous, assisting me in finding a meal before bedtime and showing me to my room. 小王 was particularly helpful, offering extensive travel recommendations for her city.The hotel is new, with excellent and spotless facilities. The bed was cozy, and I received a complimentary upgrade to a river-view room, offering a magnificent view of the Yangtze. A complimentary fruit platter was waiting for me as well. The hotel is relatively new and clean. I got upgraded to a Junior Suite as typical Guestrooms were sold out when I check in and the bed, showers are all comfortable. As it's a suite, would prefer to have tissue by the vanity counter & also another trash bin next to it as there is only one trash bin in the bathroom and it's located inside the toilet...
