Zhengzhou Airport Hotel — Hotel in Zhengzhou

I stayed here with a colleague recently, after completing business some 150km away, and in preparation for an early morning flight.||||There are some good standout features about this hotel compared to many other Chinese hotels:|| - Check in was quick|| - Check out was also quick|| - Accepts western credit cards (Visa / MasterCard) with no issues or DCC||||Very limited English was spoken. We ate at the Chinese restaurant on the ground floor for dinner and the food was excellent and very affordable. Breakfast was included in our rate and was also OK, but nothing spectacular.||||A free bus transfer was included, which took us to the huge new Terminal 2 building.||||The room was comfortable. There was WiFi included but (not being Chinese speaking) I was unable to access it because all the instructions were in Chinese. The bed was hard, as is typical in many Chinese hotels, and the shower was a good temperature. The whole hotel smells of stale cigarette smoke, very common in Chinese hotels.||||The hotel is also known as the "Airport Hot Springs hotel", although I couldn't find any reference to any hot springs other than on some of the namecards and menus in the restaurant. If needing to stay near Zhengzhou airport in the future, I would make this my first choice of a place to stay due to the convenience and efficiency of check-in/check-out, which was a welcome change from the very slow procedures at many...

I stayed at this hotel for one night before an early morning flight out of Zhengzhou Airport, and overall, it was a smooth experience.The location is excellent — just a short drive from the airport, which made getting to my flight stress-free. They also offered a free shuttle service, which was on time and very convenient.The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed: a hot shower, reliable Wi-Fi, and a decent bed. I wouldn’t call it luxurious, but for a transit stay, it was more than adequate.Staff were friendly and helpful, even with limited English. I have stayed at this hotel four or five times. I always get in around midnight. I find the connection service very good even if I am the only passenger. Because the airport is now so large, it is not a quick walk to this hotel. The staff are helpful and courteous. Usually there is someone who speaks a little English but because I can speak a little Chinese that is not such an issue for me. The rooms are clean and comfortable with efficient amenities. The breakfast that is included in the price has a good variety of food to suit both Chinese and western pallets. It does not matter to me that there are no tourist attractions Close by because I only stay there as a stopover...
