Lettuce leaves awash in some sort of watery white fluid, with no discernable taste, some croutons and a few pieces of dried bacon. Especially disappointing given how lovely the fruit and vegetables are most of the time in China. Main course "Lemon and Herb Chicken" should have been listed as "Lemon and Herb Skin and Bones"!!! There was virtually NO actual chicken meat. Roated tomatoes and asparagus were lovely, Dessert was uninspiring, but compared to the salad and main course for sure the best course. The Wine? Hannah was very efficient and professional throughout the check-in process, everything was explained thoroughly, I felt welcomed even though I have never really stayed in the Hyatt on my own expense, as being the longtime member of Hilton and Marriott’s chain, I have the tendency of choosing these hotels over the others. ||||Hannah called to check on me after I got to my room, sent a handwritten card and also fruit basket, things that I would expect from Hilton or Marriott when I am at the high tier of the membership, but Hannah did it for me! Only senior management staff of the hotel can speak slowly English. Junior staff fumble with service as they cannot understand basic English and have to refer to Seniors all the time.
The restaurant is huge with wide menu choices and excellent food.
The rooms are big and offer fantastic views going upto 73 Rd floor !
The hotel have big malls and shopping areas nearby with some good quality Chinese and Japanese restaurants. Showcase can pass his evening quite well.
