The newly opened EVEN Hotel in Zhongshan presents a favorable accommodation option for those in need of a transitional or tourist stay. The experience begins with the challenge of navigating a vast, shared parking lot, a small adventure eased by the hotel's proactive communication.

An unexpected upgrade to a Magic Mirror room highlighted the hotel's attentiveness to enhancing guest experiences. This room, spacious and imbued with a fresh ambiance, offered a unique feature that added a delightful twist to my stay. Despite my preference for softer beds, the firmer option provided was comfortably acceptable. The bathroom, equipped with a smart toilet and large bathtub, enhanced the luxury of the stay.

However, the experience was slightly marred by a breakfast service misunderstanding, leading to a missed meal. Although staff efforts to rectify the situation with a simple noodle dish were appreciated, it didn't fully make up for the initial oversight.

The public areas of the hotel, including the gym and meeting rooms, provide basic amenities but lack the entertainment options and free services found in other EVEN locations, such as Chengdu JinNiu. This limitation, along with charges for laundry services, was a minor inconvenience.

The service throughout the hotel was notable for its quality, with staff showing readiness to assist in various ways, including car registration for those arriving by vehicle. The presence of an outdoor swimming pool, though not yet operational, promises additional leisure options for future guests.

In conclusion, the EVEN Hotel in Zhongshan is a commendable choice for its modern comforts and convenient amenities, despite room for enhancement in areas such as recreational activities and breakfast service. This was our first tourist visit to Zhongshan, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience than staying at the Even Hotel. After traveling from the US to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and then Zhongshan with two large suitcases and heavy backpacks, we arrived at the hotel at 10:50 AM, feeling a bit travel-worn.

Kahin Wu at the front desk provided outstanding service by helping us check in early. Although the room type we booked wasn’t available yet, Kahin went above and beyond to upgrade us to a beautiful suite, recognizing my IHG membership status. This thoughtful gesture allowed us to rest and refresh before our afternoon sightseeing plans—a much-needed comfort after a long journey.

The hotel itself is modern, impeccably clean, and exudes a positive vibe. Its location is ideal, directly connected to two excellent shopping malls and surrounded by a variety of dining options.

Breakfast was another highlight of our stay, offering a wide array of choices, including delicious Cantonese-style dim sum. The staff were equally exceptional—special thanks to Lisa at the breakfast bakery area. She not only provided warm and helpful service but also gave us useful advice on utilizing the hotel’s laundry facilities. The laundry room was clean and a lifesaver for a two-week trip!

Though we didn’t have a chance to use the swimming pool, the area looked stunning, and we’re already planning to try it during a summer visit.

Overall, Even Hotel Zhongshan exceeded our expectations in every way, thanks to its excellent staff, convenient location, and thoughtful amenities. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhongshan and look forward to staying here again...

Room and facilities were fine for this rating category, functional rather than luxurious. But where this hotel really shine for me was the service. They went over the call of duty in ways that were almost extraordinary for me at breakfast . We had come from|Macau and I had absentmindedly left my iPhone and iPad charger. I asked a waiter where I could buy these and for some Sheraton’s of nearby places.|| I was told the shops weren’t opened yet but the next minute, a lady had come to me and asked if I would like her to arrange for this to be purchased online and to have this delivered. I said I was leaving that morning but she assured me it was possible and basically hurried away whilst we continued to enjoy our breakfast to attend to this, paying for me in advance. Within pretty much just half an hour, she came to my table with the original waiter (whose name I found out ti be Will), beaming, with the purchased charger and leads in a box. I was bowled over by the protectiveness and efficiency, and when I thanked her profusely.
