I recently stayed at this hotel with my family for 2 nights, from 26 to 28 August, on the 54/F. While the overall cleanliness of my room was acceptable, I did notice some areas that could be improved. Specifically, I found a dead mosquito, couple of hairs and some fingernails on the wooden floor, and the bathtub had some soap stains that seemed to be left by previous guests.During my stay, I accidentally misplaced my room key while using the gym. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, allowing me to access my room in under 20 minutes. I encountered an issue with connecting to the Wi-Fi in my room, I called and the concierge arranged for someone to come and assist me. Although we were unable to resolve the issue, I truly appreciated the support at 11 PM. Additionally, I received a follow-up call the next day around 11:30 AM, which I found to be a thoughtful gesture.I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and the kitchen staff were very friendly. A male staff member approached me to ask what type of eggs I preferred, and the female staff member boiling vegetables was also pleasant. However, I felt the reception staff could improve their service, as I did not receive any greetings during my interactions. Furthermore, the replenishment of glasses for drinks could be enhanced; I visited that section multiple times and found it empty.I finally met Wendy at checkout after seeing many positive mentions of her in previous comments. She was indeed friendly, greeted me with a warm smile, and assisted me with my mooncake purchase. It was clear that she stands out in terms of customer service, even in our brief interaction of less than 10 minutes. Read moreThe hotel is not located in the city centre. There are not much choice of foods as only a shopping arcade is adjacent to the hotel plus few small restaurants. The. Chinese restaurant in the shopping arcade is a bit expensive but the foods quality is acceptable.The lighting of the ground floor is a bit dim while the Concierge staffs are not always available. Therefore it is easy to miss the reception which is located on 39/F. The checkin process is smooth and efficient. We booked three rooms for two nights. One room with the door was widely opened and an entrance card was put in for her entrance box. We immediately went back to the reception to find out what’s happening. Three counter staffs were at the reception, one staff indicated we should approach his colleague for any queries. The other two staffs seemed to be on some business discussion and ignored us for standing there for more than 5 minutes. If we didn’t make a sound to distract them, they would continue their conversation. After checking, the room card had not been taken out while the door widely opened because the workers forgot to close the door after finishing repairing lighting in the toilet. We accepted the explanation and went out for dinner. Next morning, my friend told me they couldn’t sleep at all due no air conditioning was available. We asked the receptionist to change the room for us and she took immediate action to accommodate our request plus delivery a free fruit platter to my friends as well as allowing us to have late checkout until 2pm. It has an elegant building with good facilities, but it’s her people that I want to share.||The check in was very smooth and efficient. We reserved 3 rooms. Mine was upgraded to a corner suite on 53rd floor. The suite was huge, well equipped and spotless. I mentioned in my reservation email that extra firm mattress in my room is a must as I have ongoing back problems. It was done perfectly.||Every time we went to the club lounge, Cici, the receptionist stood up to welcome us. She’s very polite and charming.||Lots of varieties at breakfast. Ample choice of western and Asia dishes. Everyone in the cafe offered great service, attentive and warm. Anlin, Tina and Xiong Xin were the ones impressed us most with their outstanding service.||Since I had to catch a flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok, I checked out at 10:30am. However, my guests would like to stay a bit longer. When I asked for a possible late check out, Crystal, without any hesitation, said no problem at all.
