I am not familiar with the location of the hotel with respect to attractions in Zhoushan since the hotel was booked by the tour organiser and it was also my first trip to Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province, East China. Zhoushan is a bustling coastal city and the area is dotted with several scenic islands and beaches. The city of Zhoushan is on one of the island and it is the site for the annual sand sculpture exhibition at the South Beach Scenic Spot. A visit not to be missed is the peak of the 379m Mount Daqing on Zhujia Jian Island, where you can have a magnificent 360o view of the Zhoushan islands.||The hotel is a short walk to a couple of shopping malls, which is quite convenient if you need to grab something from the bakery, a Starbucks coffee or chicken from KFC. ||The hotel itself is new, spacious and tastefully decorated. The room is well maintained, with separate shower, bath tub and toilet cubicles. I really liked the shower cubicle. One small matter though. The bathroom is big and it has two doors, one near the room entrance and another from the bedroom side. The problem is the light switches are placed only near the room entrance, thus in the middle of the night, you have to make a short detour to room entrance to switch on the bathroom lights. ||Room views are either the highway in front of the hotel, which allows you a partial sea view if you are on the higher floors, or the back view of the hotel showing residential apartments and shops. ||The bed and quilt are very comfortable and the air-conditioning works perfectly. There is free LAN internet connection. If you did not bring your own computer, you can rent one from the hotel at 50RMB. For wifi, bring your own notebook and install connectify to create a free wifi hotspot for the room.||The restaurant serves buffet lunches with wide choices of Chinese and Western hot meals, salad, dessert and seafood (grilled and sushi). It has ample room for many but if you are adverse to cigarette smoke, stay well away from the smoking tables.||The staffs are courteous and helpful with passable English. If you are looking for a comfortable, quiet and clean accomodation that is close to the shops, this hotel would be...
