My recent stay at Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay in their Room with Soaking Pool was impeccable. ||||The room was generously sized, featuring elegant Lingnan-inspired architecture with modern artistic elements that created a perfect blend of traditional charm and contemporary luxury.||||The Twin beds in our room was comfortable with premium linens, a marble bathroom with separate shower and circular bathtub, dual vanities, private bathroom.||||The highlight was undoubtedly the private soaking pool located on the patio. The water temperature was adjustible for relaxing soaks both day and night .||||The interior design reflected a sophisticated island style with hardwood floors, tasteful furniture, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows that embedded the charming sea view into the living space . The attention to detail was evident in the high-quality toiletries, plush bathrobes, and nightly turn-down service that included laid-out pajamas and aromatherapy with essential oils .||||Nestled at the foot of Phoenix Mountain along Zhuhai's coastline, the resort offers stunning panoramic views of the South China Sea . ||||The property features its own white sand beach, a perfect spot for sunbathing and relaxation. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay to celebrate my son's birthday, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish!From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. I made a last-minute booking on the same day as our stay, and I was pleasantly surprised that they accepted our request without any hassle. Upon entering our beautifully appointed room, we were delighted to find a complimentary cake for my son, complete with colorful balloons to celebrate his special day. This thoughtful gesture truly made our stay memorable!The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities we could ask for, including beach robes, spa robes, beach slippers, and room slippers, which added an extra touch of comfort to our stay.One of the highlights of our stay was the on-site dining options. We enjoyed the dinner buffet, which, while a bit on the pricey side, was absolutely worth it! The variety of seafood and other dishes was impressive, and the beautiful view while dining made the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was also a treat, offering a wide selection of both Western and Asian dishes.An added bonus was the beach located right next to the hotel, which had a kids' play area and swings. I have placed a hotel booking through trip.com for a room in Angsana Zhuhai Phoneix Bay.We arrived the hotel at 3 pm but there is no packing lot and when we parked the car and checked in, the staff told me that the room is still not available and we have to wait for 40 mins.Finally we can get the room at around 5pm. It took 2 hours longer than the expected checkin time, i.e. 3 pm.  We just left our luggage in the room and then we had to go out for dinner.Before we planned to go swimming to enjoy the facility of the hotel but there is no time allowing us to enjoy the swimming pool anymore.Even the staff told us that we can have late check out at 2:30pm on the next day, we can’t enjoy it because we had other planned activities. At the end we checkout at 12:30pm.The staff offered us the Patio Pool Room but the in room pool is so dirty and full of leaves. We can’t use it at all. The cleanliness of the hotel facility draw us attention.In the next morning, someone outside the pool came inside our garden and knocked the window of our room. It was so loudy and woke all of us up. We were so scare so we did not open the curtain to see what happened outside. Luckily we locked the window so no one can come inside. We have concern of the security of the hotel.Honestly, it was a very bad experience for this stay. Angsana is such a world class and famous resort hotel.  We never expect that we paid higher price comparing with other 5 stars hotel in Zhuhai but we cannot enjoy the facility and do not feel relax at all. It really disappointed us. I hope the service level for this hotel can get improvement so that all the guests can have better service...
