Hello,
besides the nice room, good breakfast and very welcoming employees I had a particularly experience that I utmost appreciate .
My luggage got stuck in an airport in Europe and was supposed to be shipped the next day and directly to the hotel after arriving in Zhuhai, since I had to leave immediately after two days for my travels through China. In a tracking system I could see that my luggage had arrived in Zhuhai the evening before I had to leave and I knew due to bureaucratic processes it would not arrive in due time. I thought I could drive up there and pick it up myself (which probably would not have worked because I did not have the luggage tag anymore..), but when I asked the hotel to call a taxi, explaining where I was going, the young concierge Tucker and the guest service manager Alfred offered to call the airport first to check if there was some options to get the luggage released for me. After explaining the situation for 45 minutes to the airport employees, even sending document pictures back and forth on WeChat, the airport allowed that the luggage be picked up. Tucker then took the liberty to ride up there with a taxi and pick up the luggage for me.
This kind of helpfullness is not common in everyday hotel life, so the Crowne deverses a 5* for having awesome employees!
Thanks and best...

Reasonable price, considering I've spent as much on worse hotels in HK recently. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My one gripe is the restaurant. I was at the hotel a fair bit due to online work, and would have happily have spent the whole day/evening there, but the food was far too focused on being 'impressive' rather than good. The decor of the restaurant is extremely dated similar to what was deemed 'traditional China' from 20 years ago, which doesn't lend itself to a comfortable eating experience. Would love to have been able to get a steak, or some more commonplace Chinese cuisine, but all the options were too 'arty' without much substance. No reasonable wine list, which was disappointing. Expensive wines with no reputations, and the options in beers was extremely limited. My one real disappointment with the hotel. The swimming pool is outside, with no shelter so the Zhuhai sun is beating down on the swimming area. No real setup for relaxing by the pool, and the pool itself is rather small. Well-maintained but it doesn't really match the photos here. Good photography I guess. However, the hotel itself is lovely. Will definitely stay...

Nothing else. Asking for coffee spoons but given soup spoon and after some times then get it, then was told they actually provide sticks but only 3rd day then I found out they kept in the drawer. A lot pf tour groups and you hardly can get the food, all are empty. Fighting for food with tourists and the food quality is bad and salty like eating salty........3/ couldn't get good wifi and was given another small touter after midnight after a lot of checking and debate; though the IT manager is kind enough serve late night, but I think the hotel need to enhance the wifi service for business guests.4/ Room cleaning was good though they missed our to top-up one of the day, but overall good.5/ Disappointed there is no in room service manus for the food.....6/ The hotel staff used my person data to contact me for rating their service after I checked out this is...
