I stayed in the hotel with friends during my holiday. Though the website indicates that it is 4 star hotel, it feels like a old and run down 3 star hotel. ||||Pros:||1. The location is excellent for anyone who want to experience nightlife in Zhuhai. It is located outside a outdoor market area where you can find many local food and small souvenirs. I don't find the food appetizing but you can still enjoy the ambiance of night time in Zhuhai. There are also shop houses around the marketplace where you can find sim cards or run errands. My advice is you walk a bit further to a small supermarket located around 10 minutes away from the hotel just after the open market. The goods there look more hygienic. Moreover, there sell this rare Mango Pocky that I cannot find in Singapore. This will be a must buy in that supermarket. ||2. There is a KFC located in the hotel (1st and 2nd floor), This is very convenient for young backpackers who are looking for supper or a fast-food dinner. In fact, I see the KFC as a major plus for this hotel. Prices are very affordable. You can buy a tub of chicken at half the amount you pay in Singapore. The KFC is deserted after 8.30pm on weekdays so it is a good place to have a quiet meal. ||||Cons:||1. The facilities and room also looks run down like a 80s hotel. The hotel feels like it has not been renovated for decades. The corridors are dimly lit and the furniture looks old too. There is no cable TV. The showers are also slow in heating up. The quality of the pillow is also not very comfortable for a 4 star hotel. There is a smell of age when you enter the room. But I will term it as a cozy hotel because the lighting is dim but it is cozy area to spend a night. Feels like 80s.||2. The variety of breakfast is minimal. However, food is mostly warm and it provides a decent meal. ||3. Most of these staff cannot understand English. Nevertheless, they try to help as much as they can in Chinese so that is a good thing.||||In conclusion, the good location for nightlife and KFC fast-food makes this place a good hotel for friends looking for some backpacking or families looking for a day stay or two with young children who like KFC. Facilities are old, run-down but it is...

Read moreAll-in-all, it is a pretty decent place for a short stay. The surround is basically a place full of shops and can be a district where the locals will come. At night it comes alive with more neon lights and more shops opening including makeshift stalls. If you like Chinese smartphones, this area is dotted with shops selling all manner of Chinese Android smartphones.||||A little further but within walking distance is the huge Huafa Mall. When I say huge it is huge.||||The hotel itself is OK for sleep but breakfast is pretty miserable. You get better food if you go out. There is a KFC that opens 24/7 at the 2nd floor. It is good for a short stay but I doubt you want to stay longer...
