A Serene Escape for Mind, Body, and Soul – Hotel Casa Tuirak is a Must-Visit! Our recent 3-night, 4-day stay at the new Hotel Casa Tuirak in Perreira, Colombia, was an absolute dream, especially for our family seeking a true escape into nature. Tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle, this hotel offers an unparalleled sense of tranquility. Waking up each morning to the symphony of birds and breathing in the fresh, clean air was incredibly rejuvenating. The hotel's natural setting is truly its greatest asset, providing the perfect backdrop for a proper rest and recharge. We particularly loved the beautiful warm pool, offering a delightful way to relax. The view from the terrace is simply stunning, allowing you to soak in the surrounding beauty. The food was consistently good, and the service was excellent throughout our stay – every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. For those looking to truly unwind and reconnect, Hotel Casa Tuirak is an ideal destination. We highly recommend taking advantage of the daily 8 AM yoga classes with "HappyHippy" – what a lovely and inspiring teacher! We thoroughly enjoyed our sessions each morning. A small tip for future guests: the hotel doesn’t have 24 hour service. They have working hour witch im sure they will inform you when you do your checking.
Rent a car at the airport. Definitely you need it.

Our experience at Hotel Casa Turiak was extremely disappointing, especially considering we purchased one of the top-tier packages available.
The room was very small and offered no privacy—there was no separation between the bathroom and the bed area. The bathroom light operated on a motion sensor with no manual switch, meaning it constantly turned off while we were still using it. Even worse, the shower was full of bugs and dirt, making basic hygiene uncomfortable.
The room had no TV, no WiFi, and to top it off, the lights flickered on and off throughout the night, disrupting our sleep. We were also bitten multiple times during the night, possibly by mosquitos or spiders.
Accessing the room was a challenge on its own. It was located up a mountain on a poorly lit path with loose, wobbling rocks—a serious safety concern, especially at night. No one from the staff offered help with our luggage upon arrival, except the kind women at the front desk. Security and other staff members walked right past us.
The pool closed at 10 p.m., and the sauna and jacuzzi were completely closed for our entire stay—something that was never communicated beforehand. The food was also extremely overpriced for the quality offered. Also, the view here wasn’t all that spectacular.
Overall, the experience felt neglected and unwelcoming. For the premium price we paid, we expected far better service, facilities, and hospitality.
I will highly recommend booking a stay at La Colina, we received excellent service and everything exceeded our expectations...
Read moreIt is a new “hotel” so expect a few details not to be perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful. Very well done and decorated. The beds are really comfy and the view is breathtaking. It is not completely finished yet as I saw they are building a Jacuzzi and wet areas. The pool is small but is just enough to relax for a little bit. It has retreat atmosphere, not a vacation resort. The breakfast is served until 8am so plan accordingly. We missed breakfast one day because our tour started at 7:30am. Dinner dishes are really good. There is no front desk 24/7 so plan accordingly as well. I wish it had more to do but I am glad we did our research before booking it. So if you are not planning to just relax, i suggest to book tours during the day and come and relax at night. Mornings are beautiful with the sound of nature right in front of your door. Bring...
