We live about 5 minutes outside of town and always enjoyed the adventure going into town and checking out all the cool shops, bars and the parque.
My husband is Colombian born and I am American and have served 10 years in hospitality. I know quite a bit about service and this location exceeded all my expectations.
The location is a quiet surprise as it's right on the outside of town and 10 minutes walking distance from the city center. Looking around the hotel you wouldn't expect it but once you're inside it's a Sweet slice of paradise with great weather, gorgeous pool, and even more delicious food and drinks. Working on vacation, this is a great place to do so with strong wifi and refreshing pool.
The service was on point and they were very attentive. And for the daily entrance for the pool was well worth it. We actually ended up changing our mind and staying the night after our experience by the pool. Also it was convenient to enjoy the bar in town and walk back to the hotel versus trying to find our way back up the mountain back home.
The room was clean and well kept. You get a nice queen bed with thin sheets and a nightstands. They did provide additional blankets and towels as requested. I would be worried about what you plug into the outlet as my MacBook laptop was spazzing out with one of the outlets, honestly my only complaint however that could be just my problem with my own laptop. However on the other hand the bathrooms were perfect and well-designed. There is not a closet or drawers but a cute balcony to look over the property. The climate in this town is absolutely amazing especially being American the weather is so nice here but to the Colombians it's cold. We traveled in mid July with 95° on the East Coast however down here it's a cool 60 to 70°. Definitely the type of weather you leave your windows open for.
The checkout process was easy and included quite a lot. When you book, it includes the pool entrance as well as breakfast. The staff is easy going very willing to work with you on making the most of your trip. In town I felt safe, and it was very easy to navigate for the things we needed.
Highly recommend if you're a tourist passing through town or if you're a local wanting a...
