We recently stayed at a charming hostel near Medellín, in the town of Santa Barbara, owned by a wonderful person named Francia.

From the moment we arrived, Francia was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Despite our late arrival (11:45 PM!), she greeted us with hot chocolate, making us feel right at home. While the hostel is small and not luxurious, it’s clear that everything has been crafted with love and care.

The view of the valley from the upper floor is breathtaking, and each room reflects a humble yet cozy atmosphere. There's also a lovely beer garden at the bottom section of the hill, perfect for relaxing.

If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with a host who truly goes above and beyond, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

The centre of Santa Barbara is busy and noisy. I recommend you don't stay up there but instead come down the hill to this beautiful location with the best views and peace! You can still quite easily walk a few minutes into town for shops and restaurants. Lovely, helpful hosts and I recommend the breakfast. They helped us back up with our bicycles, which we really appreciated. I would love to stay...

The rooms are clean, comfortable and big and you have access to a shared kitchen and lounge area. The rooftop view is spectacular, incredible views over the entire mountain range. It’s very peaceful here. The hosts are so kind and friendly and helpful ! Would...
