Don´t get me wrong, the place is very nice. However I have to tell my experience. I got to the Hotel through Hotels.com App and made my reservation. I was thrilled because it seemed very nice, one day I decided to make an extra arrangement so I called the property to do so and gave my reservation number, Surprise!!!! NO reservation under that code, they advertise themselves through this app but then don't recognize business with them. I had a lot of problems with this Hotels.com didn't care and I had to do it all again with the property triple the price almost. We got there and the first lie is that they are close to the Peñol (big rock) they are not and if you want to leave the hotel to go somewhere else is very expensive, you have to rent a boat. Second lie, the weather here is cool and it says they have a climated pool, not true! water in the pool is really cold. Third lie: it says in the reservation Wifi, well it doesn't work either, you are very lucky if you go up in the hill, climb a tree and get some signal in your phone, so if you want to disconnect is ok, but ir you need communication think twice. Lie four: the rooms have TV but no signal either. ||The staff is nice and try to give a good service, although the time we went there were only three in the hotel and one of them was the cook, administrator, handyman all in one!!! pour guy, if you look for someone after 10pm it is scarry, there is no one to ask for help of any kind, you don't know where they sleep and there is no desk or anyone available.||They have a service for kayaks (a little deck) but there is no one in charge of verifying the safety and there were not enough life vests to go out in the lake, very unsafe I thought, we had an accident in the middle of the lake (one of our kayaks turned and we fell in the water) people in other kayaks helped us and the hotel never knew this happened. ||Well, the room was small, no light in it, there was a lamp with no light bulb (they should check this simple things before renting), they have teepees you can stay in, but very precarious with no light, not even a night table, the mattress so hard I got a backache...||In summary, the rooms are ok a little small, food not bad but a very limited menu and you are in the obligation of eating this or nothing (no place to buy extra), I think very expensive for what we got. The place has great views and it's a quiet getaway if that is what you want. }||I has so much to do to...
