My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay there during 5 nights. Hosting is a real job and Luz dary and Mauricio have understood it perfectly. All their attention is brought to details and the wellness of their hosts. Being offered a drink j and a piece of homemade cake at the arrival, you already feel home, even though far from it. Luz wad never pushy about the payment and gave us the option to pay whenever we would like. The jacuzzi is a pleasure at night when it gets colder. There is a free tour of the Finca included, explaining coffee processing to take whenever as well.|We were given every single piece of information necessary to start our journey in the eye cafetero. Luz has all good addresses for restaurants and places to go go enjoy the area as much as possible.||The rooms and bathroom extra clean. The room service tidy it in a very cautious manner.||Now the breakfast. Every day different (trust me in Colombia you are rarely given more options than huevos pericos) homemade of course, big enough to fill your stomach a good part of the day, and the "mesera" being extremely nice. I required a couple of changes a twice of the breakfast and always was responded positively.||Located Between the airport and the city of Armenia the location is excellent. We personally rented out a car to be freer but buses are 5 mn away from the Finca. Luz and Mauricio can take you on the main road to catch them there directly.||We had the chance to observe the super moon and take the nicest shots on our last night there. A good way to close up well deserved vacations.||To sum up This place is extremely recommended for anyone in any setting. Couple / family.||Points of improvement:|- room isolation (we could hear conversations on the...
Read moreMy family and I spent four days at Finca la Marsellesa. We have three young children and there were 4 adults. Luz made sure that everyone's needs were met and she was friendly and informative.||The accomodations are clean and comfortable. The surroundings consisted of beautiful native flowers and plants, many beautiful birds, coffee plants and plaintain trees. The pool and hot tub were very welcome on the hot days and the tired returns "home" from full days at the local attractions.||There were games and cards that Luz provided and the ping pong table was a big hit, as was the tree- house for the kids!||The homemade breakfasts were typical Colombian cuisine and were delicious!||There was complimentary fruit, coffee and water at all times and the staff tried to make our stay exactly as we wanted it.||Make sure that you take the "tour" with Luz of her farm. It takes about an hour and she will tell/show you all about coffee harvesting, plaintain harvesting and introduce you to the guadua trees and rubber trees. ||I can't say enough good things! Muchisimas gracias Luz y...
Read moreRecently I spent 4 days at La Marsellesa with my daughter, her 2 children, a nephew and his daughter. From the beginning, the service & attention to detail were outstanding. We arrived a bit later than anticipated, but the owner (Luz Dary) was waiting for us to take us to the Family Suite, complete the registration & then offered her advice to facilitate our visit to the Parque Del Cafe & Panaca. Our accomodations consisted of 3 bedrooms each w/private bath, a living room with Cable TV, an outdoor area with a dining room/game table and a hammock. The housekeeping staff did a great job during our entire stay. One of the days we decided to stay in, enjoy the pool & have a cookout and again the entire staff was there to assist us in every possible way. They even contributed plantains and yucca from the farm!!!!||Highly recommend The Marsellesa as a great vacation spot with beautiful grounds, great food and wonderful people to look after you. Gracias Luz Dary &...
