La Dulcera — Hotel in Armenia

We stayed 3 days in the hotel during Easter and it was a nice experience. The hotel is really beautiful and the workers are really nice. The swimming pool is really nice and well taken care of, altough we didn't make use of it as we were travelling most of the time. Arriving to the hotel can be challenging at night as the signal in the road doesn't have the name on big letters but instead just a big picture of the hotel. About the food, there's no menu or option to choose, the cookers prepare a dish and that's what you get, same for breakfast. Still the food is nice and tasty but make it quick for breakfast or they may run out of eggs or other ingredients. Also be aware that the hotel is a "finca" which means there are animals on it. For me it was quite unpleasant to discover that the rooster will start makins his noise at 5:00 am sharp so no chances to sleep any later on the first days until you get used to it. About the rooms, they are simple but with plenty of space. There's no air conditioning or any protection against mosquitos so do not open the windows with the light on! The toiled is modern and nice. Finally as an advice be careful with the owner, doña Claudia, she can give good advice but is not good making the maths with the money, it charged us 3000 pesos more than what it should and to my friends it also did her own rounding on her favour. Mi experiencia bastante desagradable ||1. Muy costoso para lo que ofrecían ,habitaciones oscuras , cama poco confortable, televisor pequeño y sin señal , mala conexión de wifi , ventanas sin malla ósea imposible abrirlas por que entraban los mosquitos.||2. Restaurante bastante restrictivo en cuanto al menú , si tienes una condición de alimentación especial, este no es el sitio para quedarse, no hay fruta fresca , no se puede modificar absolutamente nada del menú.||3. Fuimos a pasar fin de año , en la página informaban de la fiesta de san silvestre pero nunca se nos informo que era obligatorio , eso me incomodó bastante por no me pueden obligar a adquirir ningún servicio que no desee,conclusión solo pagamos por los adultos, la cena muy costosa para lo que ofrecieron , Galantina de pavo ensalada puré y un postre barato ||4. El servicio malo , la señora Claudia es una mujer impositiva , recuerdo que el primer día que llegamos nos ofreció las entradas a los parques , que las compráramos con ella que no ahorraríamos las filas y demás, no se los compramos a ella por que en línea salen mucho más económicos , pero ella todos los días nos insistía y hacía preguntas directas como: que van a hacer hoy ? La sentimos molesta por no habérselos comprado , Nos sentíamos cuestionados regañados.||5. Ese lugar no es amigable para ir con bebés , no hay silla de bebe , para lavar los teteros debíamos pedir previa autorización de la señora Claudia , hasta para calentar un agua si no tenía la previa autorizacion los empleados no podían decidir.|Recuerdo un día que necesitaba la plancha , la solicite a los empleados y me dijeron que no por que doña Claudia no estaba y si ella no lo aprobaba ellos no podían hacer nada, como al tercer día solicité un lavadero prestado para lavar la Ropita de mi bebe y la respuesta de uno de los empleados fue : permítame le digo a doña Claudia para ver si se puede , eso fue la tapa me puse furiosa y les dije que eso no funcionaba como hotel , los empleados de ese lugar son muy amables pero se les nota el pánico que le tienen a doña Claudia.||6. No respetan los horarios de piscina y jacuzzi , le hacen aseo a la hora que consideren , la música que ponen es una emisora vulgar, escuche trova de doble sentido todo el tiempo , yo creo que en eje cafetero hay emisoras que trasmiten su cultura cafetera sin recurrir a la vulgaridad .||7. Les falta capacitación en servicio al cliente , la sensación que tuvimos es como cuando uno llega a quedarse de arrimado a donde algún familiar, es como si le estuvieran haciendo un favor a uno.||8. We went in this finca a weekend at the end of March. The weather was great, and this contribute a lot to enjoy the nice atmosphere of this big farm in the middle of the zona cafetera. There is a small building for the reception, another one for the breakfast area, and the main building with the rooms. The latter is very coloured and well-kept. The rooms have the bathroom, but they have no hair-drier, so in case you need think about it. Between the rooms building and the breakfast area there is a small outdoor swimming pool and a yakuzi, and a patio where in the evening it was nice to stay drinking and chatting.
