Puerta al Mar Glamping Eco Hotel — Hotel in Atlántico

Puerta Al Mar is a true paradise, and we are so sad to be leaving.

The location couldn’t be better—a short 5-minute walk from the beach and nestled serenely in nature - a short bus ride away from Barranquilla. The lodge has many spaces to relax surrounded by beautiful trees and nature, its the perfect location to enjoy mindful activities like yoga and reading. We really enjoyed spending time in their brand new relaxation corner, spotting all of the different types of birds flying past!

Jose and Andrea are incredibly warm hosts, always ready with a smile and excellent local recommendations - we loved exploring the nearby beaches and there's a great hike you can do around the bay as well. We also loved spending time with their delightful pets, Maca and Ako - who always had a warm welcome for us!

The most charming and peaceful place we stayed while in Colombia! The accommodation blends beautifully into the surrounding nature and is the perfect place to watch the sun set over the horizon each evening.

There is a great place to relax in hammocks and read on site, a firepit and also a cute and tranquil beach (no waves - it is like a swimming pool) only a 5 minute walk away.

However the best thing about Puerta al mar is the hosts! José, Andrea and Samuel are the nicest people on the planet and made us feel like family during our stay. The pets Ako and Maca are also very entertaining and kind-hearted.

I hope some day that I will be able to visit this...

The cabins at this hotel offer a divine atmosphere, with ample space and breathtaking ocean views. Waking up here is a true experience—feeling nature right at your feet.
