Casa Santa Isabel — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

This is a small family run Hotel in Bogota. From what I have seen this neighbourhood is fairly peaceful. I have stayed here 4 times. I have stayed in 3 different rooms. 2 of the rooms looked out upon a nice little park while the other was away from the street. All the rooms were very nice with big flat screen tvs and cable. Wifi works pretty well although the hotel could benefit from a Wifi booster. Some rooms have a kitchenette so you can cook your own meals while others are just basic. Like most hotels I have been to in Bogota you hear the traffic. Even high end hotels I hear the traffic so i cant really count this against the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the price. You want a clean well managed hotel where the owner cares this is the place for you. Very economical but do not let the price fool you. The rooms are clean and cleaned every day. My parents spent 3 nights. I live nearby so I visited in person to arrange. The price I was quoted was 14% higher than online. Strange no? Also, the room i was shown that day was far superior to the room my parents were given. |The day my parents checked out, after tipping the cleaning lady and leaving for the airport, my elderly mother realised she had forgotten some beauty products on the bed. Great location - easy access to buses, supermarkets, restaurants, fruit and veg market (all within 5 mins walk), playground right across the street, fairly quiet neighbourhood.||Apt was comfortable and very reasonably priced - nice bedrooms, closet space, sofa a bit on the small side, kitchen lacked storage but did have all requirements (except a microwave), bathroom very small.
