Hotel Casitas Barro Iza Boyacá — Hotel in Boyacá

Recently stayed for 3 nights in one of their "casitas", the Service was spectacular throughout our stay, the location of the hotel couldn't be better, casitas de barro is set in a stunning location and the accommodation can not be faulted, spacious individual lodges with stunning bathroom, sitting area, outdoor terrace, fireplace, and always a nice view.||The best part is the service, the staff is always ready to help you. During my stay I visited 5 different towns all accessible by bus from Iza main plaza, I would recommend the Lago de tota (a pristine lake of the tota town), and the stunning paramo de Oceta (in Mongui). We slept in a seprate cabin/room with a bathroom (no kitchen). It was furnished in good taste, white bed covers, dovet, a fire place which we used. It did not include breakfast, but even so in the morning we received a big bowel of fruit, cheese buns and cofee on our veranda looking over a nice garden with sheep, a chicken and a cow... Stayed for 3 days. There was not hot water available for 2 of those days. Parking area is a disaster. Also was supposed to have TV and was a ROKU with other persons emails and accounts so no TV was available for all 3 days. Chairs were broken and unsafe and should have been condemned.
