Palmera Real — Hotel in Bucaramanga

I'm very impressed with this hotel and it exceeded my expectations in every respect. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me find my way around town and learn the bus system. The rooms are clean. ||||The breakfast was excellent, delicious and complimentary. There is a pleasant tropical garden with tables and chairs behind the hotel.||||One negative is that the buses next door can be noisy. It didn't both me, but it would be an issue for light sleepers.||||I would stay here again and I recommend it to anyone travelling on a budget. It was a great bargain and my best stay so far...

PERFECT if you need to stay close to the terminal. has all the necessities and hot water. however what it makes it shine is the staff. i arrived very overwhelmed and had many different difficulties and they went out of their way to help helpful. many nice things to say about them :):) the restaurante was also lovely and reasonably priced. and my spanish is not good but people were willing to work with it....

We just spent one night in transit but found this hotel to be nice, reasonably priced, clean and with a decent included breakfast. It is literally attached to the bus terminal (Terminal de Transportes) which was perfect for us to catch a morning bus. The buses pass right by the front rooms and can be noisy but with our fan on in the room (we chose a non-AC room) it didn't...
