Our stay at Mama Yeya’s was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. Mama Yeya and her family are so warm and welcoming and made our experience unforgettable — from the incredible hospitality to the delicious home-cooked vegan meals especially made for us (some of the best we’ve had in Colombia).

The love and care that goes into this place is clear in every detail — from the deep respect for nature to the commitment to sustainability and wildlife protection. We were surrounded by stunning forest, vibrant birdlife, and the clearest swimming holes. Every day brought new adventures, and Mama Yeya was always ready with excellent recommendations to help us explore the area.

I HIGHLY recommend Mama Yeya Raíces. The hotel and restaurant is a family-business, cared for by the amazing Amalia, Victor, and their sons. They are extremely accommodating to guests and offer fabulous home-cooked meals with home-grown ingredients (vegetables from their garden, eggs from their chickens) - it's the best food we found in the region. On the property, you can access the crystal clear river and a private waterfall + walking trails through a unique ecosystem.
