I had a wonderful experience with my family in this hotel. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. They have fresh water with lemon and coffee while you wait. The hotel looks like a hacienda with mango trees all over the place. They have 2 pools but I tried to use the one in the back and there were having a fitness class in it. The pool at the front is clean and has a good size. The hotel is less than 20 mins from the airport and 15 mins from the downtown area. It’s located on an avenue so restaurants and stores aren’t that close by, but there are plenty of taxis and the hotel can call you one. The restaurant has delicious food at affordable prices. Room service is excellent. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Breakfast is included and buffet style. They won’t change sheets and towels everyday but they’ll give you fresh ones if you request them, otherwise they’ll be changed them every 3 days. The bathrooms need more attention as they weren’t that clean. Bring your toiletries as they won’t provide toothpaste. There is a nightclub behind the building and it can be a bit loud depending of how close your room is to it. I have been traveling Colombia for over 10 years and the truly genuine care and concern and friendly attitude that EVERYONE at this hotel showed me and my guest during our 4 day stay was superb!||||Yes there are always issues with something during a hotel stay but what this hotel staff does right is that they truly listen and care about your comfort and satisfaction. Again the whole staff should be given an award, from the front desk that welcomes you with a smile and greeting to the housekeepers and meseros who attend to the restaurant table guests, this hotel should be the standard.||||I have not experienced a more consistent friendly and caring attitude from a hotel staff in all of Colombia that comes close to what I experienced here, this hotel "gets it".||||Yes the rooms are clean, they are spacious, the grounds are indeed kept spotless, the breakfast is delicious, the pools and amenities are enjoyable, the wifi works great, the hot water in the shower is very hot but at the end of the day it is the hotel staff that made my stay perfect.||||No hesitation I will recommend and I...

We were on a medical mission in february 2012. Everything about our stay was great, but long hours and hard work performing surgeries for the less fortunate in Cucuta. The mayor of the town treated us like royalty, rolling out the red carpet!||||I was too exhausted to find a bank and asked to exchange currency at the front desk. Security cameras are everywhere. I realized I was cheated out of 80 dollars US. by the clerk, I reported him to several hotel managers. They reviewed the tapes, Oh he gave you money back. Yes I explained, but ZOOM IN and see how much he gave me. They seemed to not understand, but would send me copies of the video footage. It never came. I suspect others have complained about being cheated as there is a small sign posted..., no currency exchanged here!
