Hotel Zaraya — Hotel in Cúcuta

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, have a balcony and are of colonial style. Our room on the third floor had a queen bed, A/C, desk, chair, selves, TV with several channels and good internet. The hotel is close to the central commercial district with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The lobby and the patio by the pool are small, yet still usable. The hotel has a courtyard for secure parking. - this will be important for our next visit. The pool is great to cool off. The attached restaurant is large and has a great menu, the breakfast, provided is eggs (any style or ham & cheese omelet), fruit, areapa/toast, juice, and coffee. We had an extended stay here. The room is comfortable and clean. The wifi and air conditioning are good. The hot water is a bit of a hit and miss. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We were able to park our motorcycles securely and undercover. Yhe area is nice and walkable. The pool looks very clean. The breakfasts were nice. The only thing we did not enjoy was the extreme amount of noise that comes of the street if you have a room on that side of the building. Get a room further...

• Las habitaciones son buenas, las que dan para la calle, se mete el ruido dado que esta sobre una vía bastante transitada por vehículos y personas durante el día. • La ubicación es buena en 50/50, la zona de día es bastante transitada y cerca del centro comercial ventura, por lo tanto, se puede caminar, pero de noche se debe salir pidiendo taxi o tener carro propio, porque la zona es bastante sola, con personas de calle y recicladores. • El nivel del servicio malo, no por el personal que atiende, hago la correcta salvedad, si no, por las políticas del hotel o gerente, no se puede cargar el servicio de restaurante a la habitación, cobran peor que un gota a gota, siendo una empresa la que realiza las transferencia con regularidad, si están 1 o 2 noches pendientes dado que sea domingo o festivo en la cual la empresa no labora administrativamente y habiendo tenido una estadía de más de 20 días pagados anteriormente, colocan problema para entregar la llave de la habitación por orden de gerencia aun estando las pertenencias del huésped dentro del cuarto, lo cual parece una falta de respeto, y se una se queja o realiza alguna observación, la respuesta del hotel es que si no les gusta que se vayan a otro hotel y es comprensible cada quien manda en su casa mande bien o mande mal, pero entonces no ofrezca servicio al público si no lo...
