Pamaduhi is truly unique and remarkable place where we spent one of our most amazing and relaxing vacation of our lifetime ! The adventure already starts, when you wait on the dock, ready with a weeks supply of food and drinks. Then you are being picked-up by boat for a 15 minuteys trip to the island – Divinson the captain of the boat is lovely and a true professional who seems to know every wave of the sea by heart. At arrival, you are already welcomed by Pedro the concierge, who helps to carry your bags up the steep steps of the coast and then shows us “our” little cabin, where we will be staying for the next week. It's exactly like the pictures and we are overwhelmed by the view of the sea, which is simply breathtaking. The cottage is perfect! The kitchen is small but practical, the bathroom is also nice with an adjoining open shower with ocean view. But the best thing is the main room, together with the big double bed and the hammock… the whole window front that can be opened and is completely surrounded by the terrace, with direct view to the sea. For nature lovers this is the perfect place to switch off and recharge your batteries. From sunrise to sunset, the view of the sea, the light is constantly changing, and we are always amazed at the beauty offered! And the sunsets ! Pelicans regularly gather further below the house.Right next to it on the sandy terrace, which is also part of the house, we are regularly visited by large birds that get to know us well over time and almost settle down next to us. Every evening at the same time a small salamander visits us on the terrace and there are also geckos around the house. Behind the house lives a flock of sheep and on one of our walks to the beach in the area we even came across an iguana! Rubby is an incredibly lovely and helpful hostess who is always available when you need her. The whole organization is great! We even got to meet her in person at the end, which was a lovely encounter!Although you are alone in the house, it is reassuring to know that a few hundred meters away is Pedro, the concierge, who could also help us if anything happened. On our second last day Pedro took us across the island to Playa Linda in a motacar and picked us up again - a service we really appreciated! All in all, if you are looking for an unforgettable vacation destination with breathtaking views, lovingly built and furnished, surrounded by nature and with a pinch of adventure - then this is the...
Read moreBeautiful villa over looking the ocean to the west. (Sunset) I opted for the cook service, and it was amazing. Under priced. For the cook service, on the way to the island you meet Pedro -the concierge- and he helps get all the food his wife -the cook- will make during your stay. This is useful because, it is an island. You will be alittle isolated, so it is nice that one can boat in the supplies with help. The boat was super convient and private. The villa it's self is extremely beautiful and leads to a dock that has some of the best snorkeling I have ever experienced. I saw more than half the aquatic species I saw driving on the Rosario islands. I met Ruby and her husband our last day. I went over to the other cabin (there are 2, a bigger villa and a more intimate but awesome cabin) and introduced my self and took a tour. I enjoyed talking about Colombia with them and found them to be very kind. Go there, relax. This is my...
