Libertg Hotels — Hotel in Copacabana

Most of the reviews I’m seeing for this place are clearly fake. Here’s mine:

Bed was comfortable. That’s pretty much the only good part I can think of.

The food was not good and it was overpriced. The water in the community hot tub smelled terrible (like it was reclaimed water). The jets of our personal jacuzzi shot bugs into the tub and the water pressure was too low to fill it up after that. Before going to sleep I had to ask them to change the battery in the smoke detector to stop it from beeping. We were woken up by a barking dog at 6:30 AM and when I called to have it dealt with I was repeatedly asked what I wanted for breakfast. I layed back down and a few minutes later I get a call asking if I needed help with something. I told him about the barking dog. He said he’d deal with it but it never got dealt with. My sleep was ruined by this.

Spoke to staff about these issues and was offered a 25% discount on another nights stay. I had to stay another night to get any compensation for this garbage. At that point staying another night was the last thing I wanted to do. They seemed completely unconcerned that I was leaving as a very...

If you want a quiet night sleep, avoid!! Music was on until late even though no one was in the common areas or eating. Music was again on from 9am. Rooms are basic and the food is awful! Service was terrible! No one had a single word of English. When I complained about the food no one understood me and tried to make me take it back then tried to charge me for it in the morning. Others from my group sent multiple plates back. Burgers cold and practically raw it was totally unacceptable. I would recommend to avoid this place if possible. Lastimosamente no tuvimos una buena experiencia de alojamiento. El lugar es muy pequeño y con el día de sol es peor, no cabe tanta gente en los espacios comunes, la comida tampoco nos agrado, en la cena pedimos pechuga y una parte estaba un poco quemada, dicen que no se puede llevar alimentos o sancionan, preguntamos si vendían mekatos o gaseosa y nos dijeron que no, entonces ni se puede llevar ni se puede comprar allá. El teléfono para pedir servicio a la habitación nunca funcionó. Adicional, tuve un accidente en la piscina en el que me golpee la nariz, no nos prestaron los primeros auxilios, el personal ni se acercó a preguntar, nos mandaron un vaso con hielo, nos tuvimos que devolver horas antes a la ciudad para ir a urgencias y no nos dieron el número de póliza, nos dijeron que teníamos que escribir a un correo solicitando esta información, esta es la hora que no responden dicho correo sabiendo que se trataba de una urgencia, nos toco hacer todo este proceso solos y de manera particular, el hotel no nos apoyo en nada ante esta situación, cero empaticos.
