My wife and I had such a nice visit to the finca. We visited in August, 2015. Our experience was great! The home is well maintained, clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Clara the cook makes delicious meals. Norma and Ruben, the owners, are very kind and treated us like family; they were so hospitable and were wonderful. All around the finca are beautiful mountains and rolling hills. If you would like a nice, peaceful & quiet stay at a B&B near Facatativa, Colombia - this is the place. Visitors to the Colombia Bethel in Facatativa may enjoy this location as well as it is only about a 25 minute taxi ride away to the finca from bethel. House is cold with heaters in rooms, but still froze after getting out of the shower. Only hot water is in the shower using in line water heater,but still only lukewarm. Too cold for the ladies to wash hair. Don't follow Google map from Zipacon unless you have 4 wheel drive. Our car bottomed out and crawled up the hills when floored at 2 mph. Go from facativa, road is not as steep, but still have to negotiate the driveway which is 100 yds, steep and loose rock. Finca-hotel is in cow pasture so does have nice view. Caretaker only speaks Spanish, but is friendly and funny. Would be good for large group, but few bird verities and nt much to do on the farm. WiFi provided loads text, but not images, it would not even load Google maps...
