What a fabulous little gem just a short drive from Bogotá!
The property owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Since I don’t speak Spanish, Sandra kindly spoke English with me, which made my stay so much easier and more comfortable. Everyone went above and beyond — even let me leave with a palo (walking stick) after I’d recently hurt my ankle before traveling, and checking in on me once I left there property.
That simple kindness meant so much.
The food was always top-notch, and the kitchen staff went out of their way to remember my preferences and check in with me. Every meal felt prepared with care, and the flavors were always spot-on.
The property is blessed with two rivers just minutes from the door — perfect for walking alongside, exploring, taking a refreshing swim, and grounding yourself in nature. The abundance of birds and butterflies is a beautiful bonus. Being able to sit by the water and simply connect was wonderful. They offer both private cabins and boutique-style rooms, making it ideal whether you’re traveling alone or with a group.
There’s also a small games area with ping pong and other activities, but honestly, the highlight is the sound of the water running all along the property. Diese Finca liegt mitten in den Bergen. Er hat erzählt, dass das Grundstück ursprünglich eine Kaffeeplantage war, die in deutscher um 1900 gegründet hatte. Der jetzige Eigentümer hat das verlassene Grundstück erworben und wunderschön in Stand gesetzt.|Der Weg dahin ist eine nicht befestigte Straße, wir hatten leider sehr viel Regen, und unser normaler Pkw rutschte hier und dort und schlug mehrmals auf dem Boden auf. Höre Fahrzeuge haben bestimmt kein Problem.|Die Häuser, alle mit eigenem Bad, liegen wunderschön im Urwald. Finca Jardin del agua es un regalo maravilloso. Mejor de lo esperado.
