Hotel Resort Toscana Ecologic — Hotel in Cundinamarca

We stayed here for a few days at the end of January, and we loved it. It is a huge site stuffed full of wandering peacocks and other animals in pens. I get the feeling it is a recently renovated place, with a main building with comfortable and clean rooms, but there are other properties on site that appeared to be in the process of renewal.

It was very peaceful and we found the on-site restuarant to be good value and had enough variety to support a stay of several days. The service staff were very friendly and helpful, and even supplied us with fly spray to fumigate our rooms before going to bed. There are mosquitoes around but not so many as to spoil the holiday. Some repellent is a good idea though.

Es una lástima. Las instalaciones son espectaculares, la ubicación y el ambiente del hotel, sin embargo, la atención es PÉSIMA. Vine a un matrimonio al que me invitaron y mis amigos (los novios) reservaron todo el hotel para los invitados. Parte de los invitados llegaron durante la noche y no había staff que recibiera a la gente, así que quien abrió la puerta y entregó las habitaciones fue el señor de servicio de vigilancia. Durante la boda no hubo personas ofreciendo las bebidas, tuvimos que acercarnos al bar y pedir lo que queríamos; la torta tuvieron que partirla y repartirla los papás de los novios porque los meseros que estaban, solo estaban hablando entre ellos dentro del bar. Al día siguiente de la boda ordenamos sánduches vegetarianos, que según el menú, tenían champiñón, tomates secos, rúgula, lechugas y queso. Me trajeron un pan quemado, con champiñones y cebolla, al hacer la reclamación me dijeron que me daban el resto como adicionales y las personas de la cocina respondieron de una manera no agradable. Devolví el plato y nadie respondió por nada. En la tarde ordenamos esos mismos sánduches y nos dijeron que debíamos esperar en el lobby porque el mesero no llevaba hasta la piscina nuestra comida, después de habernos aguantado la mala cara de la chica en el front desk al decirle que queríamos ordenar algo de comer.

I had the worst New Year's experience with my family at this place, terrible service, their staff didn't know what to do or follow basic service processes, I wouldn't come back to this place, it's overrated, their facilities lack maintenance, poor area signage, a nightmare, we asked for a refund and it was a fight to get it back, finally, we were able to leave and be in a friendlier place to spend New Year's Eve, not recommended for any activity, please save yourself headaches and look for a...
