LIMA LIMÓN TABIO ECO HOSTEL — Hotel in Cundinamarca

We got here in the rain on our bikes after a tough go. Our Spanish was mediocre. We ended up staying 3 nights because the owners and staff is amazing. We ended up meeting many people from the town and they all were so patient and helped us learn Spanish. I will be coming back here. If you like clean air and don’t have to be in Bogota come here.

We ended up setting up our tent in the back to save a few pesos. But it’s affordable all around. You likely won’t meet 30 other travelers but you won’t have to share the place. Plus the coffee... it ain’t that instant stuff that most...

I stayed two days in Tabio and I loved so much this place! The hostel is a great 100 year-old colonial house which has been entirely remodeled with ecological material but in a very comfortable way. This is the kind of peaceful house you'd like to stay forever. They have a great patio with hammocks and a great space outside with an organic garden.
