For being on a budget, the cost of the rooms were good. We paid 200.000 a night for 2 people. In retrospect, I would rather have spent a little more and went somewhere else. The place is secluded in a “vereda” which is nice. There is an eco trail. The beds were queen size, so there was plenty of space. There are spaces to enjoy being outside. But in the morning you hear people talking loudly on the phone outside or having conversations right outside your room window where your head is on the pillow. There seems to be a farm full of barking dogs nearby which was a pain to wake up to. The first morning we woke up to loud music being played, I think in reception. The second morning was quieter. The rooms are very simple. I would say the pictures make it out to be more than they are. The jacuzzi takes about an hour and a half just to heat up, so you have to plan in advance to use it. The rooms are cool and damp and your clothing doesn’t dry. Our towels and bathing suits never dried while there. Breakfast is okay, it’s a decent size, but lunch/dinner is very expensive and in my opinion not worth it. You can easily spend 100.000 and the food is basic. I would’ve much preferred to travel to a restaurant and spend my money there than have paid for lunch/dinner at ORU. I ordered a pasta and it took about an hour and a half to get it because they said there were a lot of orders. I don’t see how when they have a limited amount of rooms. When the plate came, it was literally pasta with tomato paste and some Parmesan cheese. They literally just squirted the tomato paste on the pasta and didn’t even take the time to mix it. In the end I couldn’t eat it because it was so bitter and acidic. While staying at the facility I misplaced my wallet. The administrator said he would check the following day which is when I was leaving. He wasn’t willing to take our the time to do it. I was able to get the administrator to respond because I kept on insisting. Literally all my foreign cards and identifications were there. Would I stay at ORU again? Not at all! But a one night stay might be worth it. If you’re going to do a few days away from home, spend your money somewhere...

Habitaciones: Demasiado encerradas, poca ventilación y mal olor.
