Hotel Santa Maria Guarne — Hotel in Guarne

I get to travel all over South America and last week I had an even in Guarne Colombia which is about a half hour from The main international Medellin Airport in Rio Negro. I stayed at this amazing Boutique hotel that reminded me of being in the swiss alps. It was owned by an Italian man and his Colombian wife of 12 years. They really went out of their way to not just have an impressive architectural design of the building itself, the details in the decorations Were amazing. Ok they also have a restaurant. And of course they have great authentic Italian food and I am on a special diet. And they were so nice as to make me what i needed for that time. Es un hotel pequeño pero muy agradable. Las habitaciones son cómodas y muy bien aseadas a diario. El servicio es muy bueno, con atención de sus propietarios Roberto y Rita quienes son muy amables. Si bien está cerca de la Autopista Medellín Bogotá, no se siente ruido y se descansa muy bien en las noches. El desayuno es muy bueno, siguiendo la tradición antioqueña de las arepitas con quesito. ||Solo un par de detalles: no hay armario o clóset en las habitaciones pero hay perchero con ganchos.
