As others have said, this hotel is in a rural area 5 minutes outside the town. It has a variety of options, from dorm rooms with shared bathrooms to private cabins with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and mountain views. We stayed in one of the cabins, the decoration is very rustic but everything is super clean, great WiFi, great water pressure and hot water in the shower. I wasn't a big fan of the bed, too soft, but not unbearably so. As soon as you arrive, you can feel the friendly, welcoming vibe. The main room of the hotel boasts a wood burning fireplace perfect for chilly nights, a variety of reading materials, board games, and overall, great company. We met a lot of interesting, friendly people when sitting around the fireplace. An underrated part of this hotel is the food, especially the vegetarian food. Fresh veggies, expertly seasoned and cooked, and generous portions. I had a stuffed roasted squash one night that was so exquisite, I changed my mind about how much I like squash. The breakfast features fresh bowls of fruit, granola, eggs, toast, etc.The staff is very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help you out. Read moreThis was the best place we stayed in Colombia at this price range. I cannot emphasise enough how beautiful the gardens are; perfectly tranquil with lovely swing seats and hammocks that you can sit in and relax. Our room was a private room and was much larger than expected and had a beautiful shared balcony with a view across the valley. The common areas are lovely, with comfy seating, sometimes an fire going in the evening when it is cold, and there is alcohol to purchase if you want it. The kitchen is pretty well equipped and also cleaned more than once a day. In general, the cleanliness of the place was top notch. The manager, Harry, was also very helpful when he was around and have us lots of extra advice for our travels. I would definitely recommend...
