Beautifully located small family hotel (4th generation) in one of the most naturally peaceful settings we’ve ever been in. Our sizable room had a huge picture window that opened to a bamboo forest filled with tropical plants, birds, nature. The room itself is charming, with private bath, instant hot water for the shower (a little tricky to use, but if you turn the faucet slowly the water becomes nice and warm), and comfortable new mattress, sheets and pillows. We ate fresh trout dinner here one night and it was delicious. Very friendly owners. Great made to order breakfast. A lovely and unique setting that you will not find anywhere else....

There is not much choice when visiting Tierradentro, and it is not easy to book in advance as nobody seems to answer anything but WhatsApp, with no numbers listed... I expected a very basic place, but it turned out to be very pleasant, with a spacious room with hot water and a nice terrace. The restaurant too was very good, one of the finest trout I had in a long time. From what I gather this is the best place to stay near the Archaeological Park, which is a 5' walk...

Dès l'aube, Francy n'a pas hésité à nous préparer un petit-déjeuner copieux à 5h30 du matin pour que nous puissions partir avec notre guide aux premières lueurs du jour – un geste aussi rare qu'apprécié.
