This is a far remote place in a small quiet town on the edge of the desert. If your going here have a think of how to give back to this wonderful Wayuu tribe community. We went with 12 nurses and doctors to help the Wayuu tribe in the desert whose kids are dying of malnutrition:( The hotel was really the only choice in town and we had a great ( no complaints at all ) experience- the staff are very friendly and felt like family and they went out of their way to help with all our 1st world needs. Everything was very clean and we started each day with a great breakfast with eggs, fresh papaya, fruits and arapas etc and great dinners at night. Cuando llegamos el baño estaba sucio, el muchacho de la recepción no se sabía la clave del wifi, el control del televisor no servía. En la zona se estaba yendo la luz, entendemos que no es un problema del hotel y nos parece bien que tengan planta para atender la emergencia.
