This house was amazing. Unfortunately they need to be more conscious about their drinking water and kitchen hygiene. We rented the house to spend new years and we found ourselves spending new year's all in bed intoxicated, vomiting and diarrea (full throttle). The house was expensive for the total stay which was fine and we where willing to accept, but the water situation and kitchen hygiene was to the point that it ruined all the highly anticipate family new year's trip. They need more signs and more communication on drinking water. The cook that was provided unknowingly gave us bad water when she cooked more than once. They need to have as rule of thumb and top of mind to control the drinkable water situation. They need more training to guarantee the true experience of this property. We had to leave early because of how bad we felt. We are still dealing with some type of a refund but the property owners are very dismissive at this point. We are looking for something fair. Not total refund but our experience was ruined. Do not pay until you check out (just like in any other place). They charge you at the beginning the full amount and were very insistent as if we were gonna leave without paying. If you are gonna stay here, BEWARE of the water, it can ruin your whole stay. Also after realizing we needed bottled water, they where marking up 200% of what the water truly costs. I find this predatory on the ignorance of the tourists. I really don't find it to be honest business. They can still make it right and refund us for their negligence that affected our stay. This is not what we paid for or were expecting in this new year experience. We are still trying to resolve the situation and hence this review because they really don't want to find a common ground for a resolution. We need at least 3 days of refund. 3 days that people were vomiting/diarrea that were lost due to their negligence. The fridge was also malfunctioning which resulted in the loss of food that we had to throw away. We were 14 in our party. We hope this helps other travelers to be aware and always think twice in all situations in a place they are not familiar with. We are still waiting for the owners to resolve this. Hopefully with this review I will get a fair and just response to resolve the situation. Until then, we have to let people know of our experience which is the truth to protect the consumer, and for them to correct the flaws they currently have. However we were welcomed to a house that was poorly cleaned and sanitized for new guests. Visible first and grime all over the kitchen and fridge. Which is a problem for anyone, however even more so during a pandemic. As well as the fridge not working for the first 2 days of our stay. We were warned about drinking the tap water from the start, so we were safely drinking bottled water (which we were charge twice the amount it truly was worth). On our second night there, we all fell ill to a mysterious unforgiving food poisoning. We have no idea where or how it originated. Our suspicion is that it must’ve been from food or juice prepared by the staff. We suffered this food poisoning with unforgiving diarrhea for the rest of our stay, completely ruining the experience of our family vacation and New Years. Upon speaking to the facilities staff, we received zero help or care for our butchered family trip. We ended up leaving days prior to our original plan. Read moreEs lamentable que un lugar tan bello y un concepto tan genial como el de este hotel se vea manchado por un pésimo servicio y por situaciones como las que nos pasó a mi y a mis compañeros de trabajo, teníamos una reserva por 5 noches a partir del 01/04/2024, por complicaciones en nuestro vuelo de conexión llegamos el día 02/04/2024 y aún así nos cobraron por las 5 noches, durante la estadía solía escribir al front desk y al restaurant para preguntar y/o ordenar algunas cosas, y sabían durar horas para responder e incluso en ocasiones nunca respondían, y para cerrar con broche de oro, en la última noche, un ladrón entró a la habitación de uno de mis compañeros mientras este dormía, y le robó su cartera donde estaban todos sus documentos personales y tarjetas de crédito, hicimos la reclamación en la recepción y ni se inmutaron, pedimos que por favor revisen las cámaras y nos informaron que eso lo hace una compañía de seguridad, al final no nos ayudaron en nada, mi compañero procedió a bloquear todas sus tarjetas, y para sorpresa de todos cuando tomamos el vuelo que salía de armenia a Bogotá, a mi compañero le llegó una notificación que intentaron utilizar una de sus tarjetas, lo que quiere decir que quien sustrajo la cartera sabía en el momento en que saldríamos de armenia a Bogotá… en fin es un desperdicio que un hotel tan bello y con un concepto tan hermoso se vea manchado por la ineptitud del personal y posible complicidad con un robo, ojo hablo de posible complicidad por que no tengo pruebas que hayan sido parte de...
