Encanto Hostel is the paradise! Beautyful wooden huts implemented in the most beautyful garden I have ever seen! Directly located at the river where you can take a refreshing bath. Such a peacful atmosphere!
If you follow the road up you can hike to a beautyful waterfall site. The Costeño beach and Tayrona Natinoalpark Entrance are close by (Bus, Moto-Taxi / walk) and if you do the Lost City Treck the Jeep transfer can pic you up easily as the hostel is on the way.
The accomodation provides very cosy, clean beds with mosquito nets and good pillows! I had the best sleep, waking up in the morning accompanied by the beautyful sound of different birds and a nice wind breeze.
Harold is the nicest host who does everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. You can ask for everything and he will give his best to help you! The food cooked by two wonderful columbian ladies is very, very delicious! Free coffee and tea are provided all day.
You can play pool billiard, some boardgames and pingpong for free! Also you can chillax in a hammock or use a gymnastics mat for doing yoga or exercises.
The Wifi is excellent, I could do my remote work without any problem.
I highly recommend to stay Encanto Hostel! For me it was the perfect stay some days before and after the Lost City Treck and you can store lugguage there if you bring your own little padlock (the place is absolutely safe). I was glad to find a quiet and natural place, escaping from the party hostels at Costeño beach. You can also stay there and go to the beautyful beaches in Tayrona national Park! The Main Entrance is only 10min...

Read moreOur stay at Encanto hostel was absolutely magical. The place is located on the edge of the jungle and is perfect for a quiet place to chill out or come back to after a party. The service was excellent and every dish I tried on the menu was delicious (and I tried everything). Right next to the Mendihuaca river so it’s an ideal place for a nice dip with easy access. The host was very welcoming and attended to all our needs, along with great recommendations of the surrounding area for hikes or different parties going on in the area, transport or any questions we had. It has both the options for bunk beds all close together for big groups or solo travellers looking to meet people, fully equipped with good quality mosquito nets (which is definitely needed) or comfy private rooms. We extended our stay after our first night there so I would definitely recommend this...
