Entre Bosques Tayrona — Hotel in Magdalena

I booked a dorm bed last minute on What's app where they confirmed the cost was 35k/pp/night. Initially I thought it was an OK place with a nice dorm, hammocks and pool. ||||On checkout I saw that they had charged me DOUBLE for the room i.e. 35k x the 4 nights TIMES 2. [ie. for 8 nights when I only stayed 4, or otherwise for 2 people]. So my bill went from about 350k to 500k which is a big deal for a backpacker missing meals to save money. I also saw that they had charged me for quite a few extra drinks (worth roughly 30k), however I decided not to argue, since it had already been arduous, and just didn't leave a tip to help with vets bills for the cat with spinal injuries, but was left short for getting back to the airport, since I'm at the end of my trip. ||||The food there is not that great, but it's a 25 minute up-and-down walk to the main road to get anything else. Because the hostel was quite empty during my stay, I was going to leave a pretty good review to help them get more bookings, but left the place feeling scammed and annoyed. "Entre Bosques" (Into the Woods 😀) is a peaceful place to relax, enjoy nature, and have fun. The cabin we reserved had everything we needed to sleep well, get rest, take a shower, read, and prepare our food. Outdoor spots such as a clean pool, hammocks space, bar, restaurant, and a creek enriched our environment and comfort. The 2.3 km road to hit the place from Los Cocos empowered our health (cardio) while walking up and down to the beautiful beach! The lovely staff was a plus! Ana, Adelina, and Mariana were attentive and met our needs in a very quick and kind way as well as Pepe, Jorge, and Ismael. Awful awful place - we were confronted with a family with a feral 5 year old and two parents who couldn't and wouldn't control him. The staff despite numerous complaints would also not do anything. The guy who is clearly working from home would come to the common part at 7am and start his conference calls at the top of his voice - again the staff did nothing, In the end despite paying for 4 nights we left after 3 because the management would do nothing about this awful family.
