I stayed here for 1 night during my solo bicycle tour through Colombia. In order to obtain a better idea of local accommodation standards and costs, I waited 3 weeks into my bike tour (after staying in 15+ hotels and hospedajes) before writing this review. I speak Spanish and was therefore able to communicate well with my host(s).||||Pluses||Quiet A/C, peaceful room, spacious. It had a small refrigerator. OK in-room Wi-Fi (better in corridor). It had table & chair – useful for my laptop. The private bathroom was adequate. The owners Daniel and Itala were welcoming and invited me to join them for coffee. They made me feel at home. If you speak Spanish, you will find them interesting and good conversationalists. With them at the table was a well behaved and sociable young lady called Maria. She was 8, and was the granddaughter of the housekeeper. I got to know her, and let her try out my Peanut butter (which she hadn’t tasted before). She was polite enough not to say “yuck” but quickly passed the spoon with its contents to her grandma Arely. She was better acquainted with my Smartphone. ||||Minuses||The room had somewhat outdated fittings but they worked fine for me. Some rooms had the older self-contained (and somewhat noisy) A/C units. Ask for a room with a modern quiet A/C.||||Summary||The room was fair value at 50 k COP (about USD 18). I would stay there again, especially because of the family atmosphere.||||My rating: 4/5. Location as measured with my GPS:...
