This is a gorgeous place and the people there were so accommodating.

We were a group of older adults and they were very gracious and conscious of helping to make sure that everyone was comfortable.

The grounds were gorgeous and walking through the jungly areas with the guide was really interesting. So nice to have a stop along the way for fun refreshments!

The orchids are the highlight with endless varieties in the collection. Not sure if you will find more variety anyplace in the world. Some extremely beautiful and some very odd orchids. The guide was excellent at explaining - in English - and showing us some of the tiniest ones under a magnifier.

I went with my mom, to have a look in their orchid collection. We got amazingly surprised with the beauty of the full farm but most of all with the warmth that Jose Fernando his wife and all the people shared with us. Their collection of orchids has been the most unique and gorgeous we have seen. Additionally, if the orchids were not enough, we got to see beautiful birds from different and their collection of bonsais. I completely recommend not just to go but to also to stay. This is a really lovely farm about an hour out of Manizales. They helped us arrange a driver to take us there and back. The farm itself is beautiful and you can tell the owner takes great pride in taking care of it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Lunch was delicious home cooked food.
